Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Utah
Falsifying AKC registered Chihuahua.
I purchased a white Chihuahua from a couple in Mt Pleasant, Utah on 10-10-03. The add in the paper stated, ''CHIHUAHUAS AKC, Champion lines, from 2 new $375, $475 (435)their #.'' My mom and I both called and the lady owner and she also stated on the phone and at the place where we bought the dogs that they were AKC registered. SHe stated papers where in the mail. Took white dog to vet next morning 16 hours later, vet said they sold me a sick dog & dog was going to die. Dog had seizure on me that day. Took dog back to owner. Owner claimed dog didn't look sick. ALso ''we spent your money.'' Claim they'll never have any money to give back to me. They gave me a black dog. Next day, vet said tail had been broken from a door and abused. Owner states 1 month later she doesn't have papers still and AKC's computers were down. AKC said not true. Owners stated, ''we are not ever going to give you your papers.''

Re: Falsifying AKC registered Chihuahua.
Sue them for the amount you paid, plus vet charges. They have also committed fraud, for which you might get punitive damages and attorney fees. If fraud is proven, it would not be discharged in bankruptcy (unless you failed to object.)
