Harassment in the workplace

If there is documented proof of harassment by a supervisor to several workers in a office, can we file a class action lawsuit, against the supervisor, and the business as a whole for allowing it?

Re: Harassment in the workplace

Unless the employer is a very large company, a lawsuit which includes as plaintiffs all of the affected employees would suffice. Class actions are reserved when the size of the plaintiff class is so large as to be impractical to name all plaintiffs. Then representative employee-plaintiffs are named.

Note that there are many kinds of discrimination, and not all are "actoinable." If you would like your case evaluated you may call for a free consultation. (801) 876-4422.

Also note that the first action, which must occur within 6 months of the last act of discrimination must be to file a complaint with the EEOC in SLC through the Utah Anti-Discrimination Division.
