Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Utah

Legal question

The last year I helped my stepson to buy a car, because his credit was bad, so the car is into my name but he is doing the payments, until the last 3 or 4 months, he is not doing the payments. I ended up doing those payments. Right now . I live in utah, the car is in California. Apparently he is refusing to do the payments, and also he doesn't want to give up the car. Because my credit is at risk, I need to continue doing the payments, But I also need to have the car with me. What is you advise about my case?

Re: Legal question

If the car is in your name have it picked up or go get it. Otherwise you will have to pay for the car. Note: If the car is not being insured and your name is on the title, you can be personally liable for any accident.

If the car is not in your name, you will have to get a court order granting you possession.
