Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Utah

As I am driving to work on I-15, I am behind a industrial truck caring their job materials. I am half a mile from my exit and a piece of metal comes flying out of the truck and hit's my windshield at such a high velocity that My windshield is busted! Now I write down all the truck info and call the number on the truck. The manager calls his insurance and says they will be in contact, however no word yet. I even left two number's with this ''manager''. My windshield had to be replaced immedietly because of the location it hit. Had the metal gone all the way through, it would have hit my face. Insurance won't pay because I have liability only. price of windsheild was out of my pocket. How do I make this company be responsible?

Sue the company in small claims court.
