Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Utah
My rideshare partner and I have had a disagreement. In the course of the disagreement, I left him a voicemail he has now turned over to the police. The policeman in his city, just called and said they are filng harassment charges and some kind of attempted assualt charge, because I said I would take a "shot at the title". He also warned me that I must keep away from him and his family. Is this really legal?

It depends on the content of the voicemail. You may want to consider that the call was phony.
