Re: slander

Live witnesses who hear the slanderous statements, or any document which states the libel. You must have witnesses. You will also need to prove the remarks or publication affected your reputation, and/or damaged you economically or otherwise was so offensive as to shock an average person. These kind of cases are very difficult, you should spend some time in a law library or on the internet looking at the cases to educate yourself - or contact an attorney. There may be other causes of action which you may overlook which could provide a recovery for you.
