Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Utah

time limit to enter judgement

Is there a time limit for the other party to have the judgement against me entered? The trial was 3 weeks ago, and I thought they'd be eager to get on with it since they won. This was a civil case. I can't file my appeal until they have the judgement entered, so are they bound to a time limit?

Re: time limit to enter judgement

It depends on what the judge ordered, who is preparing the judgment and who needs to review it first. Call the person responsible for preparing the judgment.
