Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Utah

Is there a time limit on taking a case to trial?

We signed a contract to obtain a water softener, water heater and filter. The company sales rep lied to us about the product and services (long story) and grossly over charged us (we found out later). We are thinking about suing, but aren't sure how long we have legally to take them to court.
