I recently married and my spouse is not a legal citizen. I want to know what needs to be done in order to establish permanant residency. Also, he works under a false Social security number, how does this effect our situation?

Did your spouse entry the USA with inspection/visa or under the visa waiver program? If he entered illegally, how long has s/he been in the USA? S/he could face bars from anywhere between three to ten years from re-entering the USA, if s/he has been without status for over six months.
