Work Visas and Marriage
My girlfriend has a work visa to come to the US. What needs to occur before we marry?

You may petition her as a spouse from within the USA, only if you are a United States citizen. If you are a USC, the petition and adjustment may be processed from within the USA. It is essential that she maintians her work visa while your spousal sponsorship is being processed.
