Legal Question in Insurance Law in Utah
I bought and paid for 12 months home insurance on a new residence. When I moved in I found bad mold that was not brought to my attention when I bought the house. I made a claim on my home insurance, and they turned around and cancelled me as of 12/11/2011. They also said they would pay only half of the claim, because I was in my 60 day review period. Can I fight the insurance company or take the past owners to court for the amount of the claim?.

The insurance policy covers what the insurance company must pay. You may also sue the seller if you have cause to believe they knew of the mold.
