Car accident loss in value.

In the case of an accident where the party that is at fault damages another car causing it to lose value as it was to be sold should insurance of the party at fault give any kind compensation to cover this loss?

The party at fault is responsible for damage to the victim's car. Utah is a no fault insurance - meaning you file a claim with your insurance company, and identify the perpatrator. You can also sue the perpatrator yourself. If the damages are $5000 or less, you can sue in small claims court.
