Legal Question in Employment Law in Utah
Can an employee be forced to sign a contract after the fact. For example, I was told I had to take a training course or loose my job. My agency paid for the course and now that the class is complete they are asking me to sign a two year contract. If I leave within the next two years I would have to reimburse them for a class they made me attend. Is this legal?

They cannot force you to sign it. However, they may fire you, in which event you may be entitled to unemployment compensation.
