Legal Question in Employment Law in Utah

My employer had all employees sign a document from H.R. stating because of hard times and the lack of students our youth facility is receiving that to cut back they are no longer paying us over time on our 15 hour day shifts. There was no information saying when this would turn around and if we didn't sign this policy we would be let go. Is this Legal and is there any way around it?

If your company does any form of interstate business or is subject to Federal Regulations they must pay overtime. You should call the Utah Labor Commission and talk with them.
