Legal Question in Employment Law in Utah
my employer misreported my earnings to Utah Workforce Services. A fraud judgement of over payment was made against me. I am now in the appeals process. Company records exist on computer and paper records of daily earnings exist also that verify accurate daily earnings. Talking with an employee of the appeals department left me with the impression that none of this would be considered proper evidence that it would all be considered hearsay, even a signed statement by a company employee. What would be considered legal evidence that I reported my earnings accurately?

If you having an appeals hearing, you need a company representative to appear with the records and testify that the amounts on the company records are accurate. The employer will also have to explain that the company made an error and misreported the earnings.
