Legal Question in Employment Law in Utah
I was just fired from my job as a cashier at Wal-Mart for theft. They told me that if I admitted that I did wrong and put it in writing they wouldn't fire me. So thinking I would lose my job if I didn't write down what they told me I did it. They ended up pressing criminal charges against me. I don't think they were appropriate, is there anything I can do?

If you are not guilty you will have to defend against the charges.
