Legal Question in Employment Law in Utah

Interview

Recently I was in an interview and the person interviewing me asked me about my marital status and I believe that is illegal. I was displeased with the question and was curious if that is illegal and what can be done?

Not legal unless unless based on legitimate bona fide occupational qualifications or prior employment history.
