Legal Question in Employment Law in Utah

Do I legally need to disclose a felony conviction on a job application, if the conviction is over 8yrs old, or would it be appropriate for me to not mark yes or no. but instead put in the explanation area, "Will disclose information during interview?"

If you lie on your application you can be fired for cause later. At some point you need to disclose. There is no number of years you wait - you must always disclose.

You may be eligible to have the conviction expunged. Call for a free consultation.
