Legal Question in Employment Law in Utah

I live in Utah. I failed a drug test at work ( first time I have not passed a drug test since I was a minor in which case i was doing drugs. I am 37 now) I do not and haven't done any kind of drug since being a minor. I was subject to disciplinary action, in which case I was to be demoted to a lower job with less pay. after I admit to doing drugs and what led to my use of drugs, drug classes, etc. I refused the job offer, so I voluntarily quit. I was not going to admit to something I didn't do. I told them I have no idea why I had a drug in my system, I don't know where it could have come from, really it could have come from anywhere I worked at a landfill. I filed for unemployment and was denied. Do I have any rights?

You probably got a false positive - which happens fairly often. Go back to your employer and see if they will set up a hair follicle test that you will pay for. If they set it up it is less likely that you could manipulate the test. A hair follicle test is more accurate.
