Legal Question in Employment Law in Utah
I live in Utah and did a property inspection in Nevada. The company that contracted me is in Colorado. I did this job in Feb. Just over two weeks ago, I was able to get the office manager to speak with the owner regarding my payment. I should have been paid the end of Feb. She told me that he said he would mail my check the following week, I spoke with her on a Saturday. I have not received payment and can not get them to respond to me. What should I do? Since there are three states involved, four if you count Georgia where the office mgr lives, I have no idea what my next step is. Can you please tell me my rights and give me a plan of action? Thank you very much. I am at my wits end over this.

You would have to sue in Colorado. You may also may be able to file a lien on the property in Nevada.
