Legal Question in Employment Law in Utah

Opening a preschool

I now teach preschool for a privately owned school. I want to quit and open a preschool in my home. I signed a contract where I now teach, which I believe said something to the effect that I can't open a preschool for up to 3 years. I wasn't given a copy of the contract so I'm not sure of the exact wording. I was wondering if there is any legal way that I can work around that?

Re: Opening a preschool

Without reading the agreement there is no way to tell. Ask for a copy. Maybe they do not have it.
