Legal Question in Employment Law in Utah

Retaliatory action of illegal withdrawals

I worked briefly at a convenience store. i agreed to a starting wage of 6.50/hr., .50 of which was to be paid at the end of the work season for every hour worked if full season with employer was completed, which it was. On the last paycheck recieved I noticed an unlawful deduction made, and when brought to the attention of said employer the deduction was reimbursed, but the .50/hr contingency pay was withheld instead. what are my legal options?

Re: Retaliatory action of illegal withdrawals

Notify the employer and file a claim. If that does not work file a claim with Utah Dept of Workforce Services and finally, file suit (in small claims if less than $5000).
