Unjust termination
I was working for an airline. Last august my airport ID was taken from me under instructions from the Transportation Security Agency because my background check showed what they said was a disqualifying crime in my record. I was given some time to get the matter cleared up before the airline terminated me. I went back to California and had my record sponged and turned in the paperwork. My airport ID was reinstated and I went back to work. In January, TSA had my airport ID taken away saying that they didn't accept California's procedure. The airline fired me and now I'm banned from working at any airport. The disqualifying crime was carrying a loaded firearm in a public place, althou it was in my car during a hunting trip. I was not given any way to clear the record differently. I've been out of work since then and can't afford an attorney.

First check with the airline for its procedures to appeal such termination decisions. You may get no or low cost assistance from Utah Legal Services.
