Wages for mandatory meetings

mandatory meeting for 2 days. 1st day was 13 hours, 2nd day was 9 hours,over night stay. I am paid hourly and they feel i should be paid for only 8 hours a day. Is that legal?

You are entitled to pay for travel time and the time at the meeting.
