Legal Question in Employment Law in Utah

Wages being taken for time loss

I work for a temporary staffing agency where we place people in temporary jobs as well as permanant jobs. My question to you is there any way to inforce a policy that each employee would have to sign that if we send them to a permanent job and they don't show up 2 days in a 30 trial period is there any way to garnish part of their wages for time loss for trainig materials?

Re: Wages being taken for time loss

You will need a written agreement to that effect with the employee. If you have that as a "policy" the employee will need to sign it.
