Legal Question in Employment Law in Utah

I work part time for a marketing agency driving from store to store in my own vehicle. They are requireing proof of auto insurance every six months.

Since they are not paying any associated benefits for accidents, how can they require proof of insurance? Do they have any liabilities if I am in an accident?

If you are in a crash while on company business the company could be sued.
