Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Utah
illegal to smoke on sidewalk in front of apartment building?
I live in a apartment complex where there is no smoking allowed on the property. I have had no problem with this because I have been smoking out on the curb adjacent to the apartment complex. One day the manager saw me and immediatly gave me a ticket for it. I was under the impression that the sidewalk was public property, and there for I could smoke there. Am I wrong?
