Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Utah
I live in salt lake city, utah. I am not on a lease, but have paid rent and utilities (that were mort in my name). I am now being evicted, and my landlord never provided written documentation of an eviction other than an email saying I have to be out in 24 hours or it's trespassing. I have heard of squatters rights and that I should be able to have 30 data to vacate.

Your landlord is required to give you 3 days to either pay or cure the reason he wants you evicted. During the 3 days you can apply with the court for a hearing. Otherwise if you have been a tenant and paid, you are considered on a 30 day month to month tenancy, and the landlord has to give you 30 days notice.
