Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Utah
i recently moved into a house and the landlord didnt have me sign a contract or lease. legally can he sue me for more than i owe him?

Without knowing a lot more information, it's difficult for me to answer your question. If you've defaulted on the payment of your rent and he's filed eviction proceedings, the law allows a landlord to recover damages over and above just what's owing for rent.
