roommate not on lease
My roommate who is on the lease asked me to move in and pay haft the rent but I was never put on the lease. then my roommate is now in jail and will be for sometime.What rights do i have as a tenanet, the landlord was informed of me moving in.can the landlord kick me out?

You should do a new lease with LL. If rent is not paid in full, YES he can kick you out by eviction court proceeding.
