Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Utah
A kirby vaccum salesman came in my home to give us a demonstration on his product and tried to suck dirt out of a brand new mattress of ours. His vaccum snagged a thread and left a huge hole in the mattress. Would we take him to small claims, or the kirby distributer he works for?

It would be faster to contact the distributor. However, if they refuse to pay, take both the salesman and the distributor to small claims.
