Nurse at hospital in ICU took advantage of our my wifes depretion
My Daughter was born with major complications and was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. We were in the ICU of Primary Children--name removed--Hospital in Utah for 100 days. We didn't make it long before having to go back into the hospital for a number of additional complications and surgeries. To say the least it was an extremely trying time for my wife and I. In the time of returning to the hospital many times my wife had to go alone some times because of me needing to go to work. An older guy (by 17 years) respiratory therapist took advantage of schmoozing my wife while at the hospital. My wife was suffering from massive pressure and folded under his pressure and had an affair with this guy. He was the respiratory therapist for my daughter and ends up initiating an affair. I want to know if I can sue the hospital for not controlling their employees and for ruining my life and marriage. I have gone through excruciating pain and suffering, suffering from major weight loss, heart problems, acid reflux, insomnia, loss of income and peace of mind. I have heard that this might fall under some kind of HIPAA violation. I want to know if I can sue the hospital for my pain, suffering and damages one of their employees caused me

You can sue the hospital, as well as the therapist, for his behavior.
