Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Utah
I rented two pack rat rental units from 1800 pack rats a
national company. I am relocating my business and my
employees up to Salt Lake City from California. One of
these units has all my personal belongings and one has all
my office equipment computers,desks,drawing,etc. This
company has a 10 day guarantee to get you Pack Rat unit
moved from point A to B in 10days or less I am at currently
day 27 and still neither of my units have arrived. My
business has lost at least 100k and I have had to go out
and buy all new personal affects. The company tells me
they could not find a driver to drive my units up to Salt
Lake City they state they had six separate drivers cancel on
them. I have been without my phones faxes and
computers for all this time which has cost me countless
dollars. All this company tell me is we are sorry and this
has never happened before. I want to take action as this
has been a huge strain financially and emotionally while I
am trying to relocate my whole business. Zach

Read, or have an attorney read the contract between you and the rental company. Their liability may be limited. If not, you can sue them for damages.
