Legal Question in Personal Injury in Utah

Where can you find info about lawsuits against a corporation

Is there a place that has information about current lawsuits against a company/corporation? Does the information include who has filed the lawsuit, what the lawsuit claims happened and which law firm represents them?

The court system is divided into Federal Courts and State Courts. Lawsuits filed in federal court in Utah are filed in SLC at the US Federal Courthouse at 400 So & Main, SLC. You can go there or go online (http://www.utd.uscourts.gov) to check for lawsuits.

State Courts are divided into districts, your district court - the 5th district, has three offices, one of which is in Cedar City, where you can go to get information about current and past lawuits.

The courts will give you all information about almost any pending lawsuit, you can look at the court's file and read everything which has been filed, including the identity of the plaintiff, defendant and their attorneys, as well as all of the claims and defenses.
