Legal Question in Product Liability in Utah
I have just fixed my roof. The company that fixed it contracted a waste services company to drop off a dumpster at my house. After they were done they came to pick up their dumpster. While doing this it dug up some old concrete blocks that were under the ground and knocked off a post on the side of my house. Now the waste services company is saying they are not held responsible for it because I told them where to place the dumpster. I just want to know if I am responsible or if they are? and should I take further action if I am not responsible?

I doubt you told them to place it where it would damage your house. They have a duty to place it in a safe place. Sue them in small claims court if they will not settle.
