Legal Question in Product Liability in Utah
I am going to sell nutritional and weight-loss supplements through my website online.
My plan is to purchase the supplements from manufacturers then re-sell them.
Original consumer packages will remain intact. I will simply purchase by the case
and sell by the individual bottle.
Do I need legal protection beyond the product liability insurance that the original manufacturer
maintains?
Thanks,

Yes, If a product you sold was defective, you and the original manufacturer would be sued. You should also form a limited liability company for additional personal protection.
