bill paying

Regardless of a major credit hit, how can I stop paying my bills without going to jail. House payments, credit cards, school loans, etc.

People are not sent to jail for failure to pay debts. You can avoid payment of some bills through bankruptcy. There are articles about bankruptcy on this website.
