Break lease option to sell house

can a owner break a lease option in order to sell the house or move back in? we have a set purchase price of 350,000 and he had it appraised for 475,000. he said he has people moving in on Sunday and we have to be out by Saturday. he gave us 15 days and has refused to accept the regular house payment . doesnt he have to buy me out of the lease also.

Is it a WRITTEN agreement? Presumable it is. You need to look at the agreement inself to see if there is a right to cancel (Again, presumably there isn't). Has the seller accused you a breaching the agreement?

Even if he has a right to terminate, the time period is unreasonable.

From the little information and presuming an ordinary lease/purchase agreement, the seller has no right to terminate.

FYI he cannot legally physically move you out and would have to have a court order to remove you.
