land

what are the laws reguarding fence lines, our property has an old fence line cutting through it but our survey shows our property lines, is there time lines fences giving them ownership of our ground

Ownership of the disputed portion of land can be a complicated question and highly dependent on the particular facts of a particular situation, such as how long the fence has been in place, how accurate the survey is (sometimes they're wrong), what the previous owners believed and how they acted regarding the boundary/the fence, etc.

The law regarding fence lines in Utah is that a fence line may be a fence by convenience = not really the boundary but just a convenient place for the fence; or it may be a boundary by acquiesence = the fence is the observed boundary line. You may call for a free consultation.
