landlords suing rights

I am a landord who recently had my tenant evicted by filing a summons & complaint with the court. I am now out 2 months of rent. Can I sue my previous tenant for the rent & late fees he did not pay prior to vacating?

Yes, the past due rent should have been included in the complaint your already filed. You may need to file an amended complaint.
