Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Utah

We purchased a home and have been here for 5 days. We have two water issues: 1) We have had water on the laundry room floor and in front of a shower they put in. After pulling the front panel off of the bottom of the shower base (because you can see the water damage), there is mold. The seller asked us if we wanted their washer and after looking closely at the pictures, you can see the water damage on the panel. Because there is mold, this issue did not just occur.

2) A couple days after we moved in, I noticed the shower floor tile had come up. This is leaking onto the ceiling in the laundry room. There were some dry and some wet spots of water on the ceiling but the ceiling tiles look brand new. There is also caulk around the shower bottom, I'm guessing in hopes to fix the issue.

I am hoping to talk to the neighbors about any plumbing issues the previous owner had dealt with. If I can prove somehow that they knew about the issues (besides the covering up they did), do I have a case? How do I proceed and what are my options?

Seller has a duty to disclose defects of which they are aware. If you had a realtor you recieved the list of known defects. Notify the seller of your concerns. Talk to a contractor to see what the costs to repair are.
