Next step after eviction ruling

I've had my tenants evicted, am waiting for a ruling from the court, tomorrow, on the eviction and am wondering what to do after the eviction ruling in my favor to collect the back rent plus damages. I'm assuming I'll win the judgment based on answers already received through this service plus the fact that the tenants replied to the eviction and court with a statement that says they don't deny that they owe the money. What are my next steps for garnishing business receipts since they are business owners and how easy can it be to get that garneshment?

The Clerk of the Court will help you with all of this.

The clerk can supply you with the forms for judgment and garnishment. After they're filled out by you and processed by the clerk they will need to be served by the sheriff's dept or by a constable. As for how easy it is to collect, you need to know where the assets are, such as a bank, so the sheriff knows where to serve the garnishment papers. If a third party, such as a bank, is holding property belonging to the defendant you will be able to get it, assuming the assets are in the same name as the defendants in the lawsuit.
