Water Drainage Law

I have existing 20 yr old home on 4 acres zoned Agricultural. City piped existing drainage ditch and the north side of my property now has no where for sheet flow to drain. The irrigation/drainage ditch has been there 75 years. What are my rights?

You can claim that you had a drainage easement to the old ditch and therefore to the new pipe. The city should install some form of access for your drainage to flow into the new pipe. You may call for a free consultation.
