Why would you want to risk having a baby until you can afford to support one? If she gets pregnant you will have to pay child support for the next 18 years. You are also placing the 17 yr old at risk for serious emotional issues. Do some research on what happens to teens when they get pregnant. Most often the result is that the emotional growth of the girl is stopped. Most people are not emotionally mature until about 25. Why risk robbing your girlfriend of 8 more years of growing up?
