Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Utah

I was accused of sexual harassment

I was accused of sexual harassment by a female friend that works for the same company; I have no authority over her and don�t actually see her at work. The incident that she claimed to management actually toke place while I was off and she was text messaging me on the phone. We work as emergency medical tech�s and work with partners, on the day in question she started sending me texts of a sexual nature. She was at work with her partner that I later found out was telling her what to write. At first I did not respond to them but figured we where friends what could it hurt to �play�. The next day she started telling me how fun it was to send them to me, so I sent two more just as fun neither of us was at work on that day. She later went to management and said that she had told me to stop, which in fact she had not, and that we where both at work which was not true. I was given a written warning and told not to do it again. I would like to know if I have a case that would allow punishment of her, and her partner and get the warning removed from my file and my good name back.

Do women have a case of sexual harassment if she starts it and has someone else tell her what to say?

Your remedy is in appealing to your superiors. Your company may have an employee manual which outlines how appeals from administrative decisions are made. You should at a minimum insist that an explanation from you is placed in your file. There is no remedy in court or at law.
