Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Utah

defination of please

I am always embassesed at work this last year. Because of the actions and coments of the new employees at work. I have stated my feelings to my boss and all I have been told as of this date is put it in writing and we will have a meeting. This has been going on for the last four months now and nothing as of yet. I live in Idaho and my office is out of Utah. Is it possible to get some guide lines. There are several of us that are feeling the same way and are thinking of quiting because of this.

Your first step should be to contact the EEOC, which should have an office in Boise if you work in Idaho, or in SLC if you work in Utah. They will take your complaint and review the matter with your employer. After filing your EEOC complaint your should be given an opportunity to mediate a settlement with your employer. You may then apple for a Right to Sue Letter, which is required to file a lawsuit.
