Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Utah

I have fellow employees, making coments about me to customers I sell to.

Hello,

I am employed by a company who's employees, management and some owners have done all they can to tell every customers I deal with on daily basis things about my personal life. I am now gay or that is what I have to deal with every day of my life. I have heard that this comes from people that work for the same company that hae traveled to my home and looked through my windows. I have work for this company twice now for over 15 years. I sell over a 1 million dollars every year now. I have been aware of the comments for some time. I mentioned the problem to the company controller multiple times, had confrentations with other employees, and spoke with one of the owners at lunch. Each time I mention something to someone the gossip gets progressively worse. I would have left my job but can not replace my income beacuse I need to care for others who can not care for them self. I can not speak out to a customer for fear of the lost of business. I have 25 years invested in my career, a good income and benifits, and the most uncomforable job and surroundings on the planet. The company has printed policies that should prevent this type of thing from happening. What can I do? And now I fear for my job as well. Help

You can sue based on discrimination, harassment, hostile work environment, slander and libel. Get a copy of the relevant written policies and document as best you can your complaints to the company. You can get compensation plus attorney fees. You are welcome to call for a free consultation.
