Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Utah

Inappropriate assocate touching

I was working on a project at work,when another assocate came behind me and sat on my back. Why

this assocate did this,I have no ideal what so every.

{I was on my hand and knees at the time of the incident} I went to the store H.R. asst. mgr. and

reported what the assocate action.Their we're injuries

to my spine,{added on to pre-existing back problems}

the company has a "no tolerance" on any issues of

inappropriate behavior, this action of harassment in

the work place ,should had never happen,what case do I have towards the company.I only heard that this assocate has been given a written warning. Who can

help me in this matter,is thier a case and who do I

direct it to company or asscoate,we were both on the clock.

First report your injury to your supervisor and request workmen's compensation pay for you to go to a doctor - then go get treatment.

Second, if you have sustained injuries you can sue the co-employee and the company for damages. Normally workmens compensation covers workplace injuries, however, your injuries are an exception.

The amount you can recover will depend on the extent of your injuries - so see a good doctor who specializes in spinal injuries, not a chiropractor.
