Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Utah

Prostate Gland Massage?

I am a 1099/self employed person. My boss asked me if I would be interested in giving him prostate gland massage as a therputic remedy for his ''prostitis'' I declined, but felt very akward. Months went by and I eventually shared this with another femal employee. She wrote an email to another co-worker containing info about the ''prostate gland massage'' and other non-favorable info about the companies violations. Somehow the letter got to the boss. I quit for various reasons, and have asked to be paid on funded loans.

There was no issue until the letter surfaced, now the boss says I need to meet with his attorney and sign some agreement before I am paid. Do I need to sign anything?

Do I have a case? By the way, another femal employee saw the letter and commented that she does the gland massage and she is afraid of not having a job if she does'nt do this.

Please respond as soon as possible. The meeting with his attorney is next week.

Re: Prostate Gland Massage?

Without more details it is not possible to comment on your specfic situation. However, no employer can make sexual requests to employees such as you describe. It is sexual harassment. Do not sign anything until you have spoken with an attorney. The fact that another employee is also being harassed adds great credence to your case. You must file an action within 6 months of the last event. Feel free to contact me for a no c\fee consultation.
