Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Utah

Sexual Harassment Questions

At my job a manager told a group of us to lift up our skirts and grab our nuts and get to work and if we didn't then he raised both of his middle fingers. I don't feel comfortable and want to go back to work. I contacted my trianer about this but he has not called me back. What should I do and would I have a case if I took the company to court since I will loose my job if I don;t go to work today?

Re: Sexual Harassment Questions

Your employee manual should have some method of filing a grievance and objection to such behavior. File a formal written grievance, and have it signed by as many people as you can. Your next step is to file a complaint with the EEOC, which in Utah is handled through the Utah Antidiscrimination and Labor Division. (1-800-222-1238) You must file a report with them within 6 months of the event.
